Mahmud Kayode ADEBAYO is a Professor in the Department of Private and Property Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria for almost thirty (30) years, teaching, researching, and with administrative experience. He has served as Head of Department. His areas of research interest cover Human Rights, Family Law, and Medical Law.

He has to his credit over thirty-eight (38) publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, books, and chapters in books. Professor Adebayo is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
