IJAIYA, Hakeem Olasunkanmi is a Professor of Environmental Law in the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin. He holds a Ph.D. from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria (2011). He joined the services of the University of Ilorin in 2002 and rose to the rank of Professor of Environmental Law in 2018. He was the Dean of the Faculty of Law 2020 – 2023. His current research is on Environmental Law. He has published over 80 publications in reputable international and national journals. He has also published 2 textbooks. His research focus is Environmental Law. He has successfully supervised over 70 undergraduate projects, 40 master, projects, and 4 Ph.D. theses. He is currently supervising 8 Ph.D. He was appointed full Professor in 2018. He has taught full-time lecturing at the University of Ilorin for 21 years.
