Dr. B. L. Ijaiya is an Associate Professor of Law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He joined the service of the University of Ilorin two decades ago. He has also been in active practice of law which has afforded him to bring to bear his practical experience in the teaching of courses he has taught in the Department of Private and Property Law. He has published articles and contributed to Chapters in Books in both national and International Journals and Books. He is a member of the Law Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) and also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. He was the pioneer Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Offa, branch. He was the immediate past Secretary of the Association and currently the branch chairman of the Association. His main area of research is Land Law and Biodiversity as a segment of International Law
