Abdulrazaq Owolabi ABDULKADIR is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He attended the University of Ilorin and graduated in 2004 with Second Class Upper and repeated the same feat at the Nigerian Law School where he was called to Bar in 2006. Prof. Abdulkadir also attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria for his LL.M program and graduated with an A+ in 2011. He obtained his PhD in Maritime Law from the International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM) in 2014 where he was privileged to meet and interact with students from over 125 countries who were equally studying at IIUM during the time. His areas of interest include maritime security, maritime arbitration, maritime jurisdiction, maritime pollution, and maritime cooperation, where he has written over 50 articles in reputable international, national, and local journals with SCOPUS ID: 57224354605https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.url?aothorld-57224354605. Prof. Abdulkadir has been practicing law in all strata of Nigerian courts in civil, criminal, and election petition matters among others. Prof. Abdulkadir is currently a Professor and he teaches Maritime Law, Conveyance and Legal Drafting, and Law of Tort among others in the Department of Private & Property Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
